- 12th Standard or equivalent from a recognized Board/University
- For DEO/DEO Grade 'A' in Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Staff Selection Commission and Ministry of Culture: 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject
